ACE Electric Service Company’s History
Ace Electric Service Company, LLC. is your complete electrical work service provider. Ace Electric has been serving your electrical needs since 1985 with honesty and integrity. Don Ogle (Founder) of Ace Electric, started the company on these principals and the company has continued to grown under great leadership. In February 2019, Ace Electric joined forces with Funderburk Electrical Services to provide a wide array of electrical services under one company umbrella. Ace Electric still operates on its own merit and name with Matt Ogle (Don’s son) running the daily operations of Ace Electric. We are located at 1480 Breda Drive, Knoxville, TN.
Ace Electric is fully insured and licensed in the State of Tennessee. All our workmanship is fully guaranteed for one year. Our office staff and our service technicians offer over 150 years of combined electrical construction, service work and project management experience.
Awards
We have been awarded twice now, the City View Award for 2019 and 2022.
Apprenticeship Program
The U.S. Department of Labor Certified 4-year apprenticeship program consists of on-the-job training while taking classes 1 to 2 nights per week. This program helps you build a solid career while you advance through your classes. You also come out of this program DEBT FREE and have a full–time career! Every person interested must have at least a high school diploma or GED and be able to pass a drug test.
Ace Electric participates in the Apprenticeship program that Funderburk Electrical Services, LLC operates in-house and is a fully Accredited Apprenticeship Program that is governed by the United States Department of Labor and NCCER. The Company also employs its own master trainer and experienced instructors. The apprenticeship program, with a few exceptions, follows the Knox County School Schedule. A new class starts each Fall.
We offer competitive pay for all apprentices. If you are still in good standing in class and work, you will receive pay increases throughout the year with the opportunity to make overtime.
Tuition for Apprenticeship Program
- Tuition and books are paid by Company
Rewards:
- Outstanding work in the field and in class can be awarded each year with electrical tools or gift certificates.
- At the end of each year, one apprentice from each class will receive the Outstanding Apprentice award and $1,000.
